St. Luke’s is a community of God’s people centered around the Gospel and empowered by God’s Spirit to be Jesus’ disciples now. The Lord calls us to be channels through which His love and acceptance can flow to others. Using our varied gifts, we commit ourselves as a congregation and individuals to be God’s presence to our community
in both word and deed.

St. Luke’s Church began as a Sunday School more than 125 years ago. The original church building was destroyed by a fire in 1897, however the ministry of St. Luke’s on 7th St. was so important that the congregation voted to erect the current church building in 1898. Since that time, St. Luke’s Church has been an active center of faith for worship, Sunday School, and community events.

St. Luke’s offers a weekly service in Spanish – Misa de Alabanza. For special services and holidays, bilingual services are held to blend our English and Spanish cultures. Also, English Language Learning classes are held several times per week free of charge.

St. Luke’s continues to be a community focused church. We welcome you no matter where you are in your faith journey. We look forward to continuing years of service to the people of Allentown and our Lord Jesus Christ.
